The latest system update for Xbox One has begun rolling out tonight, bringing with it several requested features.
The update packs a host of tweaks and changes, including adjustments to the friend system that will notify you when favourites and friends sign into Xbox Live. This was reportedly one of the most-requested features. In addition, friends who are in multiplayer will be identified in the friends list.
The update also adds a game save progress bar to show you the status of your saves, and you’ll also now be able to see what games and/or apps are being updated or have been updated recently.
Improved GameDVR video quality, further tuning to Kinect voice and motion detection, 50 Hz video output for Blu-ray content recorded at 50 Hz, and controller and headset adaptor firmware updates are among the other amendments.
