Amazon will purportedly announce and launch its own smartphone later this year, according to a report from The Wall Street Journal.
Sources claim that the online retailer will debut the device this June, with shipments starting by the end of September. The handset will purportedly be able to display 3D-like images with the help of retina-tracking technology that utilizes four front-facing cameras or sensors. It is said that Amazon has already been showing off the phone to developers in San Francisco and Seattle.
