When Kingdom Hearts 3 was finally announced during Sony's E3 2013 press conference, fans immediately began to speculate on which new worlds Square-Enix and Disney would be taking us this time around. A lot has changed since Kingdom Hearts II was released in 2005, notably Disney purchasing Pixar, Marvel, and Lucasfilm. Between those three acquisitions, Disney's massive library of animated features, Square's video game legacy, there's no shortage for places for Sora and company to travel to. Here are the 10 worlds we'd love to see in Kingdom Hearts III.
Is it weird that my very first reaction to Disney purchasing Lucasfilm back in 2012 was excitement about the possibilities for Kingdom Hearts? It is? Ok, regardless, Star Wars seems like a shoo-in for Kingdom Hearts. While there are a galaxy of locations this level could take place in, I'd like to see Sora and the gang make their way through the Death Star from A New Hope. You could strap on a stormtrooper outfit, get a neat glowy keyblade, and team up with all of those heroes that we grew up with. I can already picture Donald wearing and blue and white garbage can and Goofy all glammed up in gold. Seriously though, if Square managed to pull off a rad Tron and Pirates of the Caribbean levels in Kingdom Hearts II, they could definitely handle a few droids, some space pirates, and a couple of wacky wizards.
