Sony has sold more than 300,000 units of the PlayStation 4 since its launch in Japan.
According to our translation of Japanese site Famitsu, the exact number of PS4s sold is 322,083. Units sold were counted in the two-day period following its February 22 release.
Famitsu compares this to the launch of the PS3, which sold just 88,443 units within a similar timeframe after its 2006 launch.
Meanwhile, the PS4 has sold over 5 million units in Western regions. There's even a mild crisis happening due to the scarcity of the consoles, though Sony thinks it should be back in stock by April. Though it's still early days for the console, we said in our review that it was already great, with much potential on top of that.
