A survival action role-playing game set in an accurate reproduction of the planet Earth.
That's the pitch from start-up studio Pixyul for their first project, ReRoll. Led by former Ubisoft and Electronic Arts developers Julien Cuny and Louis-Pierre Pharand, Pixyul is using drones to map the Earth one section at a time and transform real-life environments into 3D objects.
That digital recreation of our home -- complete with accurate, real-time weather and temp changes -- will serve as the truly open world playground for ReRoll. With one notable twist: disasters have struck in numerous forms and in numerous places, resulting in a planet that is "going down the drain and fast."
