Arrow: "Suicide Squad" Review

Arrow has been building up to the debut of the Suicide Squad for a while now, with Deadshot appearing way back in the early weeks of Season 1 and Bronze Tiger and Amanda Waller taking on increasingly prominent roles this season. And the straightforwardly titled "Suicide Squad" delivered exactly what it promised. Even as Ollie struggled to ferret out Slade Wilson's location back in Starling City, the Suicide Squad embarked on their first globetrotting mission.


It was really past time for a Diggle-centric episode given how much he's been a background figure this season. "Suicide Squad" didn't disappoint in that regard. Early on, we got some nice interaction between Diggle and Felicity, further cementing the bond they've developed as Ollie's support crew. But the focus quickly shifted to John Diggle: International Man of Mystery as he hooked up with Lyla, was reluctantly recruited by Amanda Waller, and teamed up with Deadshot, Bronze Tiger, and the rest of the gang to carry out an extraction in Markovia.
