Say what you will about King Richard I, but you can't fault the man's industriousness. In the time it's taken me to set up a few farms and put up a flimsy stone wall, my lion-hearted adversary has taken full advantage of Stronghold Crusader II's castle-building features, erecting a huge castle with impressively thick walls, tower-mounted ballistae, and enough archers to make any opponent think twice before marching troops within range. Too bad I'm his opponent — too bad for me, I mean, because just as I'm trying to decide whether to recruit a few swordsmen, a man-at-arms, or a couple of Templar Knights, he's started wheeling a couple of catapults, a trebuchet, and something called a War Wolf toward my puny defenses, flanked by a few dozen armed soldiers. At least it won't be a very long siege.
