We had heard that the much-anticipated new animated series Star Wars Rebels would debut in October, but now the official premiere date has been revealed. The special one-hour premiere event, called Star Wars Rebels: Spark of Rebellion, will first air on Disney Channel on Friday, October 3rd - but fans will actually be able to watch it even earlier if they are a verified user on WATCHDisneyXD.com and the WATCH Disney XD app beginning Monday, September 29th.
Regular half hour episodes will then begin airing in the show's regular timeslot on Monday, October 13th at 9:00pm on Disney XD. As Disney and Lucasfilm note, the series will air in 34 languages across 163 countries in over 400 million households.
