Mexican Ricardo Sánchez, 24, has today emerged as the inaugural Nissan PlayStation GT Academy International Race Camp winner. Ricardo won a place at the International Race Camp from hundreds of thousands of Gran Turismo gamers that entered the competition across Australia, India, Mexico, the Middle East, and Thailand.
Sánchez arrived at Silverstone race track in the UK as one of six gamers representing Mexico, alongside 27 other international competitors across the five territories.
Sánchez will now go on to complete four months of advanced driver development programmes before racing for the Nissan NISMO race team in the international Dubai 24 Hour race in January 2015.
