What a bittersweet week of comics!
We said a tearful goodbye to Jeff Lemire's Animal Man; although, we will see the character in the upcoming Justice League United, also by Lemire, so don't enter a crushing depression just yet.
On the brighter side of things, the agonizing wait for more of Scott Snyder and Sean Murphy's American Vampire has ended, and now we are free to sink our teeth into Second Cycle, which earned Editor's Choice with its debut issue.
On the Marvel side of things, Daredevil got his West Coast relaunch with the exact same creative team, so no surprise it's still good as ever.
Dark Horse delivered a surprise hit in The Witcher, which you may have previously read as a book or played as a video game. Best of all, our very own Jesse Schedeen says you don't need to have experienced either to enjoy the comic.
