Harley Quinn #4 Review

harleyquinn4 In the first issue of Harley Quinn, writers Amanda Conner and Jimmy Palmiotti showed us that the book was capable of offering a blend of whimsy, psychosis, plot, and substance that was unique and refreshing. While issue #4 still packs a lot of Harley's unique voice into its pages, it feels a bit flimsier than the installments that came before it in terms of story.


Stephane Roux's art, coupled with Paul Mounts' colors, are the best part of this issue. Roux's deft hand with expression is particularly successful, and the level of visual sophistication saves even the book's less than stellar narrative foibles.
