The Green Lantern universe has become quite the interesting place now that Hal Jordan has put his Corps in charge of policing the use of all emotional spectrum light. Writer Robert Venditti explores this concept by showing both Lanterns unwilling to use their rings and others more gung-ho than ever, but that doesn’t seem to stop Hal from conjuring up everything from giant green hands to a bar complete with broken beer bottles to smash his opponent’s face against. While the concept is sound and makes for an enjoyable read, at times you might find yourself wishing there was a little more meat on the bone.
