At the 30th Chaos Communication Congress, an annual conference for hackers, a team showed off a modified Wii U GamePad that was capable of streaming games directly from a PC. As reported by Engadget, the group reverse engineered the Wii U peripheral using a lengthy series of complicated techniques to achieve their goal, and while the results are still quite buggy, the team was able to successfully demo a session of a GameCube ROM of The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker by way of the Dolphin Emulator.
