No Clash of the Titans 3 Anytime Soon

If you’re jonesing for the further adventures of Sam Worthington’s Perseus and his Clash of the Titans buddies, don’t hold your breath.

While the first film from 2010 -- a remake of the 1981 Greek mythology opus -- was successful at the box office with a $493.2 million haul worldwide, its 2012 sequel Wrath of the Titans exhibited a slide in interest from audiences, making $305.2 million.

While visiting the set of the Keanu Reeves revenge action thriller John Wick (more on that soon), I caught up with Basil Iwanyk, who produced both Clash and Wrath. He confirmed that Clash of the Titans 3 isn’t happening at this point, and while he won’t rule out returning to that world eventually, he does think there’s a bit of Perseus fatigue at the moment.
