Warning: full spoilers for the Nikita series finale follow.
Well, that was it, the end of one of the best action-adventure series to ever air on television. This show delivered an action movie in an hour every episode and it's a shame it never found the audience it deserved. But they did go out in style and Craig Silverstein, Albert Kim and the Nikita team did get to give us an ending and for that I'm grateful.
Was it good for you? It probably depends on how you feel about being tricked throughout the entire episode, a pretty ballsy decision for the powers that be to make with their last hour. I had a lot of problems with being duped by Amanda's fake death two weeks ago in "Pay-Off", but primarily because we weren't allowed to believe it long enough for it to justified. I revisit that only because the twist here did work for me for the most part. It was fun to see Amanda get played and in effect we got to see our heroes as outsiders looking in, being fooled by their tradecraft the way Amanda was. And it was a relief to see Nikita win without losing her soul in the process.
