Disney's new animated film Frozen enjoyed a robust wide release this week, but the Thanksgiving weekend box office still belonged to Katniss.
Frozen's expansion earned an estimated $66.7 million domestically for the three-day weekend; its current domestic total is $93.4 million. The film's current global come stands at $110.1 million.
The top spot at the domestic box office remained occupied by The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, which hauled in an estimated $74.5 million for the weekend. The sequel's current worldwide total is $573 million after only two weeks in release.
The Jason Statham-James Franco action drama Homefront, penned by Sylvester Stallone, opened in fifth place with just under $7 million. The weekend's other new wide release, Black Nativity, debuted in eighth place with $3.9 million.
