New Rayman, Rabbids Games Announced for Mobile

Ubisoft has announced Rayman Fiesta Run and Rabbids Big Bang.

Rayman Fiesta Run is a sequel to last year’s Rayman Jungle Run (which we recently called one of the top 25 iPhone and iPad games) and features more than 75 new levels in four new worlds, as well as new abilities including swimming, shrinking and Super Punch.

Fiesta Run is developed by Ubisoft Casablanca and uses the UbiArt Framework engine, the same tech that powers Rayman Legends. Fiesta Run is headed to iOS, Android and Windows 8 this fall.

Rabbids Big Bang, meanwhile, is a new physics-based game coming from Ubisoft Paris. Big Bang sends the Rabbids to space and lets players use “one-touch gameplay” to pilot a Rabbid and “control its trajectory by using your jetpack’s boost and planets’ gravity.” Players will have to watch their jetpack’s fuel gauge to make sure it doesn’t run out, and will be able to upgrade their character’s attributes (including the jetpack) as well as customize their look.
