You think Brian K. Vaughan and Fiona Staples have developed enough strange concepts to last Saga’s entire run, and then they deliver neon-spotted sharks flying through the sky. Whether it’s bizarre animals or amphibious news reporters or the cutest little walrus in overalls, everything adds together to create a sci-fi/fantasy world that is immensely endearing, yet not afraid to show a little vulgarity to keep things interesting. Even better, the characters are as rich as the world they inhabit, and they are put front and center during this issue.
