According to Jonathan Hickman’s geometric Infinity Checklist, this is the true end of the first half of the larger Infinity event. At this point, you’re either reading the main Infinity mini-series along with the Avengers and New Avengers tie-ins, or you’re staying far away until it gets combined into a graphic novel even bigger than the five-hundred pound Avengers vs. X-Men collection. The scenes of cosmic characters and Captain America debating the next course of action have begun to wear thin, so luckily this issue builds towards the promise of shaking things up.
