The PS Vita-exclusive Monster Hunter-like title Soul Sacrifice has proven to be one of Vita’s best games of 2013. We certainly liked it. And with the recent announcement of Soul Sacrifice Delta, it seems like the series will continue, at least into the near future.
However, Inafune told me some months ago that he wanted to make a full-fledged sequel to the original Soul Sacrifice. In a conversation I had with him at Tokyo Game Show, he confirmed that Soul Sacrifice Delta isn’t necessarily that sequel, but that he wants to continue the series into the future if he’s able to.
