It's been a while since DC has done an event comic on the scale of something like Blackest Night or Final Crisis. But that changes today as they launch the first chapter of a major new mini-series called Forever Evil. Writer Geoff Johns and artist David Finch have re-teamed to explore the fallout of Trinity War, the rise of the Crime Syndicate, the apparent deaths of the three Justice Leagues, and the efforts of a few good villains like Lex Luthor to save the day. Who needs the Justice League anyhow?
We recently had the chance to chat with Johns and Finch about what this storyline means for DC and what fans can expect as the Crime Syndicate clash with Luthor's upstart band. We also discussed how ongoing series like the Justice League books fit into the larger picture.
