This is a breather issue, a spacer that settles the dust of the Dimension Z arc and whatever comes next. We see how deeply the 12 years battling Zola affected Steve; he's still not quite whole. It moves slowly, which might bother some readers, but if you've been following this epic since the beginning you'll appreciate this moment of reflection. Its got a lot of heart. Side note: where can I get a SH.I.E.LD. lighter?
Rick Remender's run on Captain America is already shaping up to be one for the books. His approach to the character embraces the past while at the same time pushing it away. This is a story about a man out of time, now more than ever. He's broken and reassembled, taken down to nothing. It's cool stuff; Remender's got his hooks in us, that's for sure. Jet's role in this series still feels a bit forced, but hopefully she'll grow as things progress. It would appear she's not going anywhere any time soon.
