In a cryptic series of tweets, Infinity Ward and Activision have begun teasing what is expected to be the first trailer to dive into the game's story. A brief clip posted to Instagram shows the an orbital weapon, dubbed the Odin, firing upon an unspecified city. The video was posted a few hours after the developer posted a photo of a fictional issue of Popular Science with the Odin Orbital Defense Initiative on the cover. Up until now, the developer has maintained that the game is set in the near-future with the United States ravaged by a "mass event" with some parts of the country occupied by a South American federation.
