Last week Hearthstone Game Director Eric Dodds and Executive Producer Hamilton Chu revealed how Hearthstone’s upcoming single player expansion Curse of Naxxramas will be structured. We now know that each of wing of the expansion will be a series of unique boss battles, with card rewards for each individual victory, as well as a Legendary for beating each wing. The other part of that interview focused on the cards themselves. Naxxramas is built around the theme of plague and death, so how is that reflected in the card designs and what will it mean for the wider game? I asked Eric – before Hamilton joined the call – about the five new player cards revealed to date. His thoughts are below, then on the second page the pair discuss their favourite classes and cards.
