Australia’s Trident T1 Dotters, one of two teams representing Australia in the 2014 Call of Duty Championship this past weekend in Los Angeles, finished in 5th place. The team took home a prize of AU$75,000.
After a victory against US team Faze, the top-ranked team in their group play bracket, Trident were the only international team represented in the top six; the remaining five teams were all from North America.
Trident's runners-up purse of AU$75,000 is the largest prize for an Australian team in ANZ eSports.
Following the championship the team were immediately returned to black-and-white prison.
