Australian Team Cracks Top 5 in 2014 Call of Duty Championship

Australia’s Trident T1 Dotters, one of two teams representing Australia in the 2014 Call of Duty Championship this past weekend in Los Angeles, finished in 5th place. The team took home a prize of AU$75,000.


After a victory against US team Faze, the top-ranked team in their group play bracket, Trident were the only international team represented in the top six; the remaining five teams were all from North America.


Trident's runners-up purse of AU$75,000 is the largest prize for an Australian team in ANZ eSports.
