It would appear that Greg Rucka and Michael Lark's goal with Lazarus is to rip our hearts out. This issue hurts and it hurts bad. In this worn-ravaged world we seemingly get nothing but despair, lies and violence. It's depressing, brutal and sad. Of course, that is exactly what we love about Lazarus. In just seven issues, this comic has managed to build one of the most engaging and heartbreaking worlds in the comic industry. It hurts so good, guys.
