Though scuba diving is probably one of the most incredible experiences we land-walkers can have, I'm far too scared of pressure-related injuries and actually fitting into a wet suit to try.
Thankfully, I can play the less dangerous World of Diving -- an arcade-style, Oculus Rift game brimming with simulated sea life, underwater wrecks, and hidden treasure to find with friends.
I have no real-world comparison, but simply floating around in the virtual ocean felt incredible. Look down and you'll see schools of fish and coral of all colors. Look back up and narrowly see something else swim past you, only inches from your face. When the developer asked me to follow his character so we could start a mission, I was so entranced that I wasn't yet ready to start.
