DreamWorks' drag-racing snail is zooming onto the small screen this month.
Back in June, IGN reported that DreamWorks Animation had struck a deal with Netflix to produce 1,200 episodes of original programming for the streaming service over the course of five years. The first series they announced as part of the deal was Turbo FAST, based on the 3D animated movie Turbo, which released earlier this year. And now we have more info on that show.
Turbo FAST, Netflix's first original children's series, will follow the titular mollusk and his Fast Action Stunt Team -- comprised of fellow speedster snails Whiplash, Burn, Smoove Move, White Shadow, Skidmark and Chet -- as they "go on daring new adventures, race on the coolest tracks, and take on the craziest challengers" in character-driven episodes.
