Supernatural: “Holy Terror” Review

Note: Full spoilers for the episode follow.


The stakes were high for the mid-season finale, and “Holy Terror” definitely delivered. Though the path this season has been all over the place with several stand-alone episdes, we got plenty of action tonight regarding the primary plot. The intense moments of the episode will have me reeling for a few days.


Even if it was plain something had to be up with Ezekiel, I so wanted the Winchesters not to be tricked yet again. But of course, they were. The predictable turn still had surprises - who knew someone so high up in the angel food chain was inhabiting Sam's body and that Metatron would want to recruit him? The end game with the angel-in-Sam wasn't clear, and this twist is a smart development that leads into an intriguing rest of the season.
