Trying to fit the Hulk into a realistic and gritty story befitting the Marvel Knights brand is no easy task. This new effort by Joseph Keatinge and Piotr Kowalski is proof enough of that. It has all the pieces -- an amnesic Bruce Banner wakes up in France, two Agent Smith types are on his trail, and then there’s lots of gamma-related destruction -- but they don’t quite fit together. This comic doesn’t embrace the elements that make Marvel Knights comics so great, and as a story in general, it doesn’t do anything unique to hook you.
