This is exactly the kind of story I wanted to see after the revealing events of Battle of the Atom. S.H.I.E.L.D. has been secretly stockpiling Sentinels to use against mutants and now that the cat is out of the bag, both sides are taking measures. The Bricklemoore twins are what make this so interesting. Writer Jason Aaron uses them to show both sides of the coin, and in the case of Joseph, we are reminded why we love the X-Men so much. Unfortunately, there are a couple hiccups in the art, so this isn’t the perfect issue, but there’s a noticeable tonal shift in this series and it seems to be headed to an interesting place.
