It may be Comic-Con week, but the comic book reviews must be written, come hell, high water, or crappy hotel wi-fi. This wasn't the biggest week for comics we've seen lately in terms of total volume. But there were some notable releases on tap this week. In celebration of Batman's 75th birthday, DC delivered the final chapter of the "Zero Year" storyline in Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo's Batman. And surprisingly, it wasn't even the highest-rated Batman comic of the week. DC also released terrific new issues of Wonder Woman and Red Lanterns, and launched another new ongoing series in the form of Star-Spangled War Stories.
Over at Marvel, Original Sin continued in books like Amazing Spider-Man and Daredevil, while Storm finally got her own solo series.
