On Interstate 80 between Wyoming and Nebraska is a bunker containing some of the military's most powerful nuclear missiles. Before you reach them, you'll have to get past Mario and Bowser.
In "Welcome to the Nuclear Command Bunker," an article on NPR, the author was given access to the U.S. Air Force facility. Past the final checkpoint, just before the elevator that takes you deep underground, is the following mural:
