Video games can mean different things to different people. A certain group may see video games as a coping mechanism. Others may play video games because it's a way for them to escape reality.
We recently asked IGN community members what video games mean to them and the responses we received were amazing.
Video games can be for me, a sanctuary of escapism. With video game's visuals, music, gameplay, and storytelling there's no form of entertainment that quite compares. I have been playing video games since a kid and I just don't see myself ever stopping.
