Penny Dreadful: Who is the Main Antagonist for Season 2?

Spoilers for Penny Dreadful Season 1 ahead...

At San Diego Comic-Con today, the creator and stars of Showtime's Penny Dreadful took the stage - John Logan, along with Josh Hartnett, Harry Treadaway (Victor) and Reeve Carney (Dorian). Logan revealed who the main villain of Season 2 is...and it's not Dracula.

But the "big bad" IS to totally obsessed with Vanessa. And we saw her in two Season 1 episodes already.

It's Madame Kali (played by Helen McCrory), who led the seance in Episode 2 and then met up with Sir Malcolm in the finale. Where she pointedly inquired about Vanessa. Though, in the scene, she seemed to be flirting with Malcolm and checking to see, perhaps, if he and Vanessa were an item. But there was actually more to it.
