The Xbox 360 didn't sell well in Japan. But Microsoft is hoping to change that when the Xbox One launches in the East this fall.

Sony released the PlayStation 4 in Japan last February, and Microsoft will attempt to create competition on Sept. 4, with 29 games to accompany it. Eleven of these titles will be published buy Microsoft, while Japanese publishers will handle seven. Among the latter is Call of Duty: Ghosts –– Square Enix has published most titles in the franchise since Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.
