It should come as no surprise that there's talk of a third solo Wolverine movie. Wolverine has been the centerpiece of Fox's X-Men franchise from the beginning. And with The Wolverine generally being much better received than its predecessor, X-Men Origins: Wolverine, it's pretty much a guarantee that we'll be seeing another Wolverine solo movie after X-Men: Days of Future Past. Fox is currently moving forward on the project and is in talks with The Wolverine director James Mangold.
Unfortunately, today brought a bit of a snag with the news that Hugh Jackman may not be up for reprising his role. Hopefully he can still be persuaded to play Wolverine for an eighth time.
