There’s a lot going on in the trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man 2. In addition to all the explosions and gravelly Jamie Foxx monotone, a secret message is embedded in the video. Beginning at the 2:09 mark in the trailer, a website address, electroarrives.com, is overlaid on a beam of blue light shooting out of (into?) Electro’s head. And just like that, folks, we have yet another viral marketing campaign for a film that is already guaranteed to be one of 2014’s biggest hits. Leave nothing to chance, I guess.
