“Small Number” of Layoffs Hit Harmonix

Dance Central and Rock Band developer Harmonix has confirmed it has laid off a “small number” of employees today.

“We can confirm that a small number of Harmonix employees were let go today,” a Harmonix representative told IGN. “This decision was made due to shifting staffing priorities for Harmonix's multiple future projects.”

The studio was previously hit with a small round of layoffs in April this year. An identical statement to the one was supplied at the time.

Harmonix is currently working on Fantasia: Music Evolved for Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
