Riot Games has updated the streaming policy for the pro gamers participating in the League of Legends Championship Series (LCS) Season 4.
Previously, it was revealed that Riot was going to forbid LCS pros from streaming titles made by any competitors, including Dota 2, StarCraft 2, Hearthstone, World of Warcraft, World of Tanks, and a number of other eSports titles, while streaming League of Legends.
The news was met with backlash from League of Legends fans, as they believed their favorite pro players should be able to play what they want on their personal streams. Only a day after the news broke, Riot's director of eSports Whalen Rozelle has once again reached out on Reddit explaining how and why the company has decided to change its policy.
