Everything That Happened in Nintendo Direct

The December 18th Nintendo Direct was mostly 3DS-focussed, showing plenty of footage of early 2014's games. Here's what went down.


Things kicked off with a surprising announcement: Hyrule Warriors, or Zelda Musou in Japan, a crossover game between Dynasty Warriors and Zelda. It's a cool-looking Wii U action spin-off that will be out in 2014.


There were some new modes announced for the recently-announced Kirby: Triple Deluxe, including four-player Kirby Fighters and a rhythm-based platforming mode starring King Dedede. Kirby also has a super-powered inhale ability called Hypernova.


Yoshi's New Island is definitely coming in 2014, still looks amazing, and features giant eggs - we got a lovely new trailer. It was followed by a lovely surprise: the return of Chibi Robo to the West, in the form of Chibi Robo Photo Finder. You can read all about it here. It'll be on eShop from January 9th.
