David Lapham Brings Stray Bullets to Image

When it comes to crime comics, you don't get much more beloved or critically acclaimed than Stray Bullets. Writer/artist David Lapham kicked off this self-published series in 1995. Lapham eventually delivered 40 issues over the course of ten years. Unfortunately, the series has been on hiatus since 2005, leaving the current story arc unfinished. The sad truth is that self-published comics don't usually pay the bills.


The good news is that the wait for new Stray Bullets material is almost over. Lapham is joining various other creators who have set up shop at Image in recent years. Fans can look forward to several new releases on March 12, 2014. First, Image will release Stray Bullets #41 that day, finally completing that unfinished story arc. That will be joined by a large trade paperback collection of all 41 issues called Stray Bullets: The Uber Alles Edition. And also that same day, Lapham will kick off a brand new series titled Stray Bullets: Killers.
