An extended demo for Bravely Default will arrive on the 3DS eShop on January 2, 2014. The demo includes a special mission that won’t be included in the main game and will allow players to get 20 StreetPass tags and obtain items that will be unlocked in Bravely Default once it launches.
Nintendo also explained Bravely Default’s microtransactions, in which players can purchase Sleep Points for the game’s battle system. Nintendo stressed that these Points can be obtained through normal play, but that the microtransactions will serve as a shortcut.
As Nintendo previously announced, Bravely Default will be available on February 7th in North America. It launched in the UK and Australia earlier this month. For much more, read our review.
