It's been long enough since the first issue of Chin Music shipped that I forgot this series even existed, much less that I reviewed the first issue. But anyone who followed Ex Machina in its latter days should know that Tony Harris isn't always the speediest of artists. Nor does his work benefit from the monthly grind. Visually, Chin Music #2 was certainly worth the wait. Harris has ditched the photo-realistic approach of Ex Machina in favor of a more surreal and exaggerated style. It perfectly captures the vibe of a 1920's Chicago where the supernatural world lurks just beneath the surface of the war between cops and gangsters.
