It's heartbreaking knowing that this creative team won't be sticking around on FF much longer. This title has been so quirky and bizarre, so utterly lovable that it's hard to imagine a world without it. FF #11 is more of the same; more crazy antics, more humor and more gorgeous artwork. There's more personality in an issue of this FF run than most comics manage in a whole year.
Matt Fraction injects phrases like “cray-cray” into FF and manages to make it not sound ham-fisted. I mean, there's a kid named Adolf Impossible in this comic. Adolf Impossible. It's ridiculous and so great. Nearly every page made me smile, left me wanting more. There are robots discussing cross-fit, Julius Caesar teaching a class on conquering and one of the best time travel scenes ever. There's so many threads running, it's sad that Fraction can't stick around to tie everything up. No Fraction on FF is a cray-cray scenario I can't deal with.
