Cam Selection help 440 68 Correct Craft

Me and my brother are working on our old family nostalgia laden 19' Correct Craft Fiberglass Ski Boat, it was originally a small block (318 IIRC) that my grandpa swapped a 440 Motor Home engine into. The 440 let go a couple years ago and we're finally getting around to putting a another Motor Home 440 we got for free with less than 20K miles on it. We;re looking to try to coax a few more knots out of her and equally as important get it sounding right. We already have an Edelbrock Torker and 750cfm carb and mallory digital ignition off the old motor to swap over. We're looking to go ahead and pullout the stock 1 bolt cam and change over to a 3 Bolt cam and timing set before we drop it in the boat as the ski mast makes any cam work in the boat pretty much impossible. We are looking for a cam with a good torque and a proper power band along with a nice aggressive lopey idle.

We're also eye balling a set of 440source aluminum heads but that will have to wait for winter as we want to get her back on the lake ASAP.

Any advice would be much appreciated,
Dave
