Killer is Dead Review

Have you ever had one of those days where it seemed like nothing is going your way, no matter how great your ideas and intentions were? Killer is Dead is one of those days in game form. It presents a handful of interesting concepts that are completely smothered under the weight of flabbergasting design decisions, poor performance, and a discomforting depiction of sexuality. This latest action game from Grasshopper Manufacture, the team behind Killer7, dabbles in familiar themes – an ultraviolent and fragmented story set amidst a stylish, anime-inspired near future. Sadly, Killer is Dead stumbles around like the guy at the bar who’s had one too many – instead of being smooth and sexy, it’s simplistic and offensively juvenile at nearly every single turn.
