Bethesda announced today that the biggest BYOC LAN party west of the Mississippi, QuakeCon 2014, will run from Thursday, July 17 through Sunday, July 20.
If you're a QuakeCon regular, those dates might sound fishy. That's because for nearly 19 years, id Software's celebration of all things PC has taken place in August. Parent company Bethesda didn't offer any explanation as to why the convention was bumped up two weeks, but it did open reservations at the Hilton Anatole in Dallas, Texas, so you can secure your QuakeCon hotel room now.
