Scary Mostro and Section Studios released a playable demo yesterday for To the Death, the recently announced side-scrolling beat-em-up/shoot-em-up hybrid.
The demo, which can be downloaded on the game's Kickstarter page, features a rough version of the combat mechanics, according to the page. Players get three lives to achieve as many kills as possible, a score which will be recorded, although it's not clear whether any type of leaderboards will be involved.
