I need opinions on boat covers.
I store my boat in a covered, outdoor, storage space. The boat is shaded all day and never gets any sun on it. The entire storage facility is paved, but there is still a lot of dust. I need a cover on the boat due to dust.
I have a canvass type snap on cockpit cover and a Taylor Made whole boat cover I purchased at West Marine (made of Acrylic coated polyester Hot Shot material). For the short term the cockpit cover works great, but for a week or more, the boat is filthy. The whole boat cover, is supposed to be breathable, but it is also designed to keep the rain off. Is my whole boat cover going to trap too much heat in the Summer (in the shade), or is it OK.
